Eating at The Bricklayers
We serve home made evening meals Monday to Saturday 6:30pm - 9pm. As we have many visitors arriving from the Harwich ferry we also offer a smaller 'Off the Boat Menu' for late arrivals.
Our menu is ever changing but here is an example of some of our dishes:
Cod in beer batter with chips
Whole-tail scampi
Poached salmon supreme in lemon butter
Vegetarian tomato, lentil and cannellini bean linguine
The Brickie's burger
Chicken goujons
Lamb & vegetable curry
Beef lasagne
Homemade puddings also available
Our Sunday Lunches are served from 12:45 - 4pm
We offer a choice of:
Roast rib of beef
Stuffed roast shoulder of pork with crackling
Roast leg of lamb with garlic and Rosemary
Roast free-range chicken with sage and onion stuffing
We offer a generous choice of vegetables that change with the seasons.
An example:
Mixed roasted vegetables: parsnips, sweet potatoes, leeks, butternut squash and garlic
Local cabbage/greens with butter and black pepper
Cauliflower and broccoli in a creamy cheese sauce
Green beans and carrots drizzled with garlic butter
Roasted local potatoes
Mashed local potatoes/local new potatoes when in season
Also a selection of home made puddings.
Weather permitting, enjoy Al Fresco dining out on the green.
